Private lodges built for the elite-class people to watch gladiator or wild animal fights shows have been unearthed in the 1800-year-old amphitheater in the ancient city of Bergama (Pergamon).

A project to build a high-tech, lightweight stage inside the Roman Colosseum will allow visitors a central viewpoint from within the ancient structure "to see the majesty of the monument," Italy's culture minister said on May 2.

Discovered in the Aegean province of Aydın, an ancient structure, which looks similar to Italy's famous Colosseum amphitheater, has been attracting the attention of onlookers. 

An ancient structure similar to the world-famous Colosseum amphitheater in Rome has been discovered during ongoing archaeological excavations in the ancient city of Mastaura in the Aegean province of Aydın's Nazilli district.

It is reported that the structure, which was cleaned and became visible, is unique in Turkey due to the fact that it is completely round.

Amidst posters celebrating Donald Trump's presidential triumph ('The Serbs stood by him all along!' one boasted), a two-metre-high concrete wall of innumerable shades of grey was constructed almost overnight.
