Mardin State Hospital

A total of six security personnel were killed and 12 were wounded in attacks by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the Nusaybin and Midyat districts of the southeastern province of Mardin and the Ovacık district of the eastern province of Tunceli on May 26.

Outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants injured one firefighter on March 27 in the Nusaybin district of the southeastern province of Mardin, where clashes between security forces and the PKK are ongoing. 

The firefighters were targeted as they tried to put out a fire that had broken out at a house in the Yeni?ehir neighborhood of Nusaybin at around midday.

Two police officers have been killed while 35 people, including two civilians, have been wounded in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) car bomb attack and ensuing clashes in the Nusaybin district of the southeastern province of Mardin. 

One police officer was killed and another wounded in clashes between police and the outlawed Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) in the southeastern province of Mardin on Dec. 8. 

One soldier was killed and eight were wounded on Dec. 2 in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) attack in the southeastern province of Mardin.

Four people have been detained as part of an investigation into a shootout between two families, which left four people dead and 27 others injured in the southeastern province of Mardin on July 3.

A group of people reportedly fired at another group who were heading to mosque in the Ömerli district of Mardin.
