At least 16 Palestinian civilians, including women and children, were killed and many others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a hospital courtyard in Jabalia, northern Gaza, on Wednesday. The Yemen Al-Saeed hospital, where displaced families had taken refuge, was the target of the strike. Casualties were rushed to the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia for treatment following the attack.

A forensic medical report has provided new insights into the death of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, a Turkish-American activist who was shot dead by the Israeli military on Sept. 6 in the occupied West Bank, challenging the Israeli army's account on "unintentionally and indirectly" shooting her. 

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have acknowledged that it is highly likely their troops were responsible for the death of Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, an American-Turkish activist who was killed during a protest in the West Bank. The Israeli military stated that her death was accidental and expressed deep regret.

The United States urged Israel on Monday to conduct a "swift, thorough, and transparent investigation" into the death of Turkish-American activist Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who was killed in the occupied West Bank.

The U.S. is calling for Israel to publicly release their findings regarding the incident.

Hundreds of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Nablus paid farewell on Monday to Turkish-American activist Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who was killed by Israeli forces on Sept. 6.
