Lanterns light up Athens sky in Christmas Eve celebration
Athens' downtown Kotzia Square became the center of Christmas Eve festivities as residents and visitors gathered to celebrate.
Mayor Haris Doukas invited attendees to share their holiday wishes, accompanied by music from the radio station Athina 9.84 curated by producer Aristea Giannou.
