In the run-up to Bulgaria's National Assembly elections, a recent Gallup International survey conducted for BNT has unveiled intriguing insights into the political landscape of the country. The survey, carried out between March 28 and April 5, canvassed 805 adult Bulgarians, providing a snapshot of voter sentiments as the nation stands on the cusp of pivotal political decisions.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov has underscored that ministerial replacements during the upcoming March rotation will be considered only in cases of significant necessity. Denkov clarified that discussions about the rotation will commence with Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel, and both will establish the guiding principles for the process.

In an unexpected and highly anticipated political development, former Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who served as the head of state from 2012 to 2017, has openly declared his support for Vasil Terziev, the mayoral candidate representing the "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" coalition.

Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) propose changes to electoral legislation in order to guarantee the right of vote to all Bulgarians. That's what the ruling party announced at an emergency briefing on Friday.

Born in 1959 in Bankya, his father is an employee of the Sofia City Administration of the Ministry of Interior and his mother is a primary school teacher. He has a sister - Krasimira, who is a doctor.

He graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Simeonovo, specialty "Fire Protection". Later he worked in the Ministry of Interior system.

 The Parliament approved the request from Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) to dismiss Valeri Zhablyanov as Deputy President of the Parliament, BNT reports. The proposal was adopted with 110 to 71 votes.

In a conversation with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the leader of Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Kornelia Ninova, has demanded a budget update for the National Health Insurance Fund for 2018 to fix "a big mistake" made by ruling party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) in regard to cancer patients, Ninova told a press conference.
