Cross-country skier Lampič third in World Cup in Davos
Davos – Slovenian cross-country skier Anamarija Lampič finished third in the women’s World Cup freestyle sprint event is Davos, Switzerland on Saturday to earn her first podium finish in the current season, as Maja Dahlqvist of Sweden scored her third win.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: Lampič and Urevc third in team event in Oberstdorf
Oberstdorf – Cross-country skiers Anamarija Lampič and Eva Urevc won bronze in the women’s team event at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, on Sunday. The pair fell short of gold by 3.46 seconds. Sweden’s Maja Dahlqvist and Jonna Sundling won the race.
Second place went to Switzerland’s Nadine Fähndrich and Laurien van der Graaff.
Lampič wins cross-country sprint bronze at world championships
Oberstdorf – Slovenian cross-country skier Anamarija Lampič won the bronze medal in the women’s classical sprint at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Germany’s Oberstdorf on Thursday. She missed out on the silver medal by a mere 0.02 seconds.

Oberstdorf – Slovenian cross-country skier Anamarija Lampič has been awarded the small crystal globe as the overall World Cup winner in the women’s sprint discipline as the International Ski Federation (FIS) decided to cut the season short after seven sprint events being held, with Lampič leading the standings.

Cross country skier Lampič second in classic sprint
Falun – Cross country skier Anamarija Lampič was second in the FIS World Cup women’s sprint classic final in Falun, Sweden, on Sunday. She finished 0.33 seconds behind Linn Svahn and ahead of Jonna Sundling, both of Sweden.
Sundling and Lampič finished in the same time, with Sundling taking third place after the judges viewed the photo finish footage.

St. Moritz – Slovenian cross-country runner Anamarija Lampič officially finished second in the 1 January World Cup freestyle sprint event, after an appeals commission upheld Slovenia’s complaint against a decision that relegated her to second place for standing in the way of a fellow competitor.

Slovenia’s Lampič sixth in sprint in Val Müstair
St. Moritz – Although Slovenian cross-country skier Anamarija Lampič crossed the finish line second in the women’s World Cup freestyle sprint event in Val Müstair, Switzerland on Friday, she was subsequently knocked down to the sixth place for standing in the way of a fellow competitor.

Dresden – Slovenians Anamarija Lampič and Eva Urevc finished third in the women’s team sprint finals at the FIS Cross Country World Cup in Dresden on Sunday. The Swiss Nadine Fähndrich and Laurien van der Graaff won the race, while Russian Yulia Stupak and Natalia Nepryaeva were second.
