The beheading of a divine couple
The heads of the vandalized replica statues of Osiris and Isis at the Brexizas archaeological site in Marathon, outside Athens, are seen covered in plastic bags.
Authorities said that vandals smashed the statues last week, decapitating their heads and destroying their faces, hinting it could have been the work of religious fanatics.
