Neighbors, rescuers search for missing after Venezuela landslide
Neighbors helped rescue teams comb through mud and debris Monday for signs of dozens of people missing after a landslide swept through a town in Venezuela, killing at least 36.
More than 3,000 rescuers were deployed in Las Tejerias, some 50 kilometers (31 miles) from the capital Caracas, after Venezuela's worst natural disaster in decades.
‘Caretta carettas in danger of hypothermia’
The endangered Caretta caretta sea turtles are at the risk of experiencing cold shock due to hypothermia with the onset of winters as the air cools down, said Professor Yakup Kaska, the head of the Sea Turtles Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (DEKAMER), adding that there is no problem in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas at present.

The police are still checking whether the incident has occurred outside the beach lifeguards' working time.
Four Tourists Died in the Swiss Alps
Four tourists have died in the Swiss Alps and five others are in a bad state after being forced to spend the night out in the Pin d'Arola area because of bad weather, police of Canton Vale said.
The rescuers found a total of 14 people, some of whom had hypothermia, and one was dead, apparently as a result of a fall.

Second man dies on freezing migrant route near Turkey in Greece
Police in a region of Greece that borders Turkey say another person has died of hypothermia on a route used by migrant smugglers despite freezing temperatures.
Authorities said the body of a man was discovered buried in snow outside a Greek village on Monday. They think he probably died over the weekend.

The result, as expected, is that people are running the risk of hypothermia or even death, unless they are found really fast by the authorities.
Three more victims of freezing reported in south
Two men have died overnight in a village near the town of Gadzin Han from exposure to the cold, Serbia's state broadcaster RTS reported on Tuesday morning.
These are the first victims of freezing in the Nis District during the current cold wave, which has seen temperatures drop to under minus 20 degrees Celsius in some areas of Serbia during the night.

Poland: 10 people dead from the extreme cold!
Ten people lost their lives on Sunday as the result of the extreme conditions in Poland. The temperature remains many degrees under zero. In some areas it has reached as low as -20.
The people that fell victims of hypothermia since November 1st are 65 in total.
