Bulgaria Marks 20 Years in NATO with Celebration and Reflection
Bulgaria commemorates a significant milestone today as it celebrates 20 years of NATO membership. On March 29, 2004, Bulgaria, alongside several other nations including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia, officially became a member of the NATO alliance.
Bulgaria’s Defense Minister calls on Russia not to Provoke an Escalation in the Black Sea
"We cannot rule out a clash between NATO and Russia in the Black Sea, but we seek to avoid escalation. However, this depends on Russia's actions. Russia constantly provokes NATO, including by expanding the zone in which it exercises control", Bulgaria's Defense Minister Todor Tagarev told Nova TV today.
Expelled Russian Diplomats are Leaving Bulgaria with their Families: 2 Flights are Taking Out more than 160 People Today
The 70 Russian diplomatic officials expelled from Bulgaria are leaving our country today with their families. Two flights will take between 160 and 170 people.
The Russian Federation has requested permission to operate the two flights.

Bulgaria will do everything possible to evacuate its citizens in Ukraine, said President Rumen Radev after the extraordinary meeting of Dondukov 2.
He specified that only until the end of the meeting the number of people seeking evacuation exceeds 4,000.
Bulgarian PM after Security Council on Tensions in the East: We Remain a Loyal Partner of NATO
Prime Minister Kiril Petkov convened an emergency Security Council yesterday. The reason was the escalation of tensions between Ukraine and Russia. Regarding Moscow's insistence on the withdrawal of NATO forces from Bulgaria and Romania, he said that this does not help de-escalation, which is a top priority for Bulgaria.

There are no Reports of Injured Bulgarian Citizens in the Missile Attacks in Iraq
There are no reports of injured Bulgarian citizens in Iraq in the missile strike, the Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
All members of the staff of the Bulgarian Embassy in Baghdad, as well as our commercial representation in Erbil, are all in good health. The two Bulgarian troops to the NATO training mission were evacuated from Iraq yesterday.
