Spanish tenors Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo are set to deliver a historic performance at Athens' Kallimarmaro Stadium (Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue) on July 10. The duo, renowned worldwide for their operatic prowess, are set to captivate their audience with a repertoire spanning classical masterpieces, Broadway hits and traditional Spanish and Neapolitan songs.

Domingo and Carreras made history in the 1990s and early 2000s when they performed as the Three Tenors alongside Luciano Pavarotti

In his previous life, Luvo Maranti didn't read music and the only thing he knew about opera was who Luciano Pavarotti was. He and his friends used to imitate the Italian tenor before bursting into laughter.

This week, the 29-year-old South African will sing his lungs out at Operalia, one of the most prestigious opera competitions in the world.

The world famous Spanish tenor José Carreras arrived in Sofia on May 8 for his concert, which will take place on May 11 in Area Aremeec Hall. It will be a farewell of the maestro with the Bulgarian audience, reports BNT. 

Carreras and his team will stay in Sofia for four days, with three of them dedicated to rehearsals with the Sofia Opera and Ballet Orchestra.

Jose Carreras, one of the greatest tenors of all time, will perform at Ülker Arena on March 25 as part of his "The Final World Tour."

Soprano Simge Büyükedes and the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Roberto Molinelli, will accompany the jubilee concert in Istanbul.  

One of the most successful tenors of the century, Placido Domingo, will be in Istanbul on Jan. 19, accompanied by the 65-person Filarmonia Istanbul Orchestra.
