China says balloon is for research, accidently strayed
China's Foreign Ministry said Friday that a balloon the U.S. suspects of conducting surveillance was a civilian "airship" used for research, mainly meteorological purposes.
The statement said the airship has limited steering capability and "deviated far from its planned course" because of winds.
It said China regrets the unintended entry of the airship into U.S. airspace.

Four injured in hot air balloon accident near Ljubljana
Ljubljana – Four persons, of whom one Slovenian and three Belgian citizens, were injured in a hot air balloon accident in the area of the Ljubljana Marshes on Saturday morning, the Ljubljana Police Department said. The injured persons were taken to the UKC Ljubljana hospital, which said that their lives were not endangered.

Man was Killed in a Balloon Fall in Egypt
One man died and another 12 were injured after a balloon crashed near the Luxor town of Egypt, the Bulgarian National Radio reported. The reasons for the crash are not clear.
This is another such case in the area. In 2013 In the vicinity of Luxor, 19 tourists died after their bubble burnt. In 2009, 13 people were injured after their balloon hit the antenna and fell.

Four Died in a Plane Crash in the United States
A small plane with four people on board has broken down a highway in the US state of Utah, Nova TV reported.
It is assumed that the pilot has attempted an emergency landing on the roadway. The plane was on fire and the four on board died.
The crash has caused a huge traffic jam of several thousand cars and trucks.
