Civil servants on strike across Greece
The federation of public sector employees, ADEDY, went on a 24-hour nationwide strike on Tuesday over wage demands.
Moreover, ADEDY has called for a demonstration at 11 a.m. in front of the Economy Ministry in downtown Athens, which may cause some traffic problems in the city center.

German factory orders down sharply
Factory orders in Germany dropped 5.3 percent in November compared with the previous month, on a sharp drop in foreign demand, official figures showed on Jan. 6.
New orders, an important indicator for Europe's biggest economy, dropped for the third time in four months following a 0.6 percent uptick in October.

Germany takes control of Rosneft’s operations
