Turkey's Fenerbahçe Beko were dominant over Lithuania's Zalgiris Kaunas with a 76-43 score in Euroleague Playoffs to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

BELGRADE - Belgrade's Kombank Arena was declared the third best sports hall in Euroleague this season according to the survey conducted among 24 coaches of basketball teams participating in the elite championship.

Dalia Grybauskaite has won the runoff in Lithuania's presidential elections and will be in office for her second 5-year term.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, Grybauskaite wins 57.87% of the votes. Her opponent Zigmantas Balcytis receives 40.14% of the votes, while 2% of the ballots were inactive, Delfi.lt reported.

KAUNAS - Red Star Belgrade lost to Budivelnik Kiev 82-79 (22-16, 19-23, 25-19, 16-21) in Kaunas late Tuesday in the first leg of their Eurocup Basketball quarter-final tie.

Red Star suffered a "tolerable" defeat after being on par with the opponent throughout most of the game.
