Montenegro ‘Should Expect’ More False Bomb Threats

Schools and some municipal buildings in Montenegro were closed and evacuated on Wednesday in response to the latest anonymous bomb threat; they have plagued the country since the end of March.

Berane: Bear stralled through the city PHOTO / VIDEO
The photo, and then the video, was posted on the social network Instagram by Mio Dobrainovi.
Portal Berane online writes that the police are securing the cubs and that the local hunting association has been called, while the arrival of the authorities from Podgorica is awaited. The bear is, by the way, an endangered species in Europe.

Residents of Andrijevica started a blockade in the town of Slatina, protesting over the arrest of a priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church and Bishop Joanikije, head of Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic.
The citizens of Andrijevica are blocking the main road Berane - Andrijevica - Plav from 11 am.
The long line of motor vehicles was formed in the length of one kilometer.

Serbian Church Supporters Stage Mass Protests in Montenegro
Tens of thousands supporters of the Serbian Orthodox Church, led by priests, staged renewed protests across Montenegro on Sunday evening to voice their opposition to the country's controversial new law on religion.

Democratic Front MPs caused an incident in an effort to prevent the law from being passed. They ran into fights with members of the ruling coalition, chased them with bottles, glasses, tossed their microphones and tried to throw a kind of smoke bomb into the plenary.

The initiative by these two opposition politicians in Montenegro is addressed at Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, and the chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina Milorad Dodik.

Montenegrin journalists' associations have protested over the decision of the police to scrap round-the-clock security for crime reporter Tufik Softic.
Softic has lived under 24-hour police protection for almost two years following threats he received for coverage of organized crime groups in Montenegro.
