Georgia has elected ruling party candidate Salome Zurabishvili as its first woman president, final results showed Thursday, but the opposition claimed fraud, reports AFP. 

With all votes counted, the French-born ex-diplomat had taken 59.52 percent of the vote in Wednesday's second round run-off, the election commission said.

The international election observation mission led by the OSCE and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, PACE, on Monday declared that the elections in Serbia were generally conducted in accordance with the law, but admitted problematic issues at polling stations.

Media freedom, pluralism and media playing the field for candidates were areas which raised concerns ahead of Turkey's Nov. 1 elections, according to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) election observation leaders, who spoke after their multi-city visit.

The OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission offered about 23 recommendations to Albania to improve elections standards in its final report on the June 21 local election, published on Tuesday.

The report raised concerns about the campaign, the process and the administration of justice related to electoral disputes.

Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) parliamentarians will observe the upcoming parliamentary election in Turkey and provide leadership for the OSCE?s short-term observer mission, the organization said in a written statement on May 19.
