At least 11 people have died and more than 300 were rushed to hospitals after drinking home-made coconut wine on Christmas celebrations in the Philippines.

7200 liters of alcohol, masked as coconut milk, was seized by customs officers in the Danube Bridge 2 area during an inspection carried out on March 15, the Customs Agency reported.
