British choreographer Russell Maliphant, Greek composer Vangelis and London-based Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou joined their formidable forces in "The Thread," a production inspired by the story of Ariadne which marries the two seemingly incongruous worlds of Greek mythology and contemporary dance.

Acclaimed British dancer-choreographer Aakash Odedra comes to the Pallas Theater in Athens for two performances scheduled to take place on November 5 and 6. In the production, titled "Rising," Odedra is set to perform works by Akram Khan, Russell Maliphant, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui as well as his own choreographies. Shows start at 8.30 p.m. and admission ranges from 12 to 55 euros.
