Vucic: Serbia must respond to ban on entry to KiM
BELGRADE - Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic asked Minister for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Aleksandar Vulin on Wednesday to prepare a report on Kosovo's armed forces and ban on entry to KiM for some opposition politicians.
Speaking at a government meeting that was open to the media, Vucic said that the Kosovo police has stopped certain opposition politicians, not allowing them to participate in regular electoral processes.
“Serbia must clearly and unequivocally react to that,” Vucic said, asking Vulin to have the report prepared for the next government meeting.
The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) officials were on their way to a DSS rally in Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday afternoon, when they were stopped by the Kosovo police in Leposavic and escorted back to the Jarinje crossing on the administrative line between Kosovo and central Serbia.
