Stjepanovic wins gold in 200 m freestyle

BERLIN - Serbian swimmer Velimir Stjepanovic won the gold medal in the 200 m freestyle event at the European championship in Berlin on Wednesday.

Stjepanovic swam phenomenally, was in the lead for the entire race and in the end took the gold by setting a new personal and national record of 1:45.78.

This is his second gold in Berlin, after winning the 400 m freestyle final on Monday.
