Parliament approves filling eight vacancies in Administration Council of the SRR

The deputies and senators of Romania's Parliament have approved on Saturday, in joint sitting, the filling of eight vacancies in the Administration Council of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation (SRR).

381 MPs voted in favor of the candidate proposals while 22 MPs voted against, out of a total of 403 valid votes expressed.

The vote was conducted in secret by using balls and urns.

The eight new members of the SRR Administration Council that were validated in joint session are: Mirela Fugaru and Ruxandra Sararu (proposed by the Social Democrat Party; PSD), Alexandru Ducu Bertzi and Alexandru Muraru (proposed by the National Liberal Party; PNL), Radu Alexandru Feldman (proposed by the Democratic Liberal Party; PDL), Alina Stanciu (proposed by the Conservative Party; PC), Demeter Andras Istvan (proposed by the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania; UDMR), Alexandra Dumitrascu (proposed by the People's Party — Dan Diaconescu; PP-DD).
