Government adopts amendments to Law on Companies

BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted at its Thursday session the draft amendments to the Law on Companies.

The government decided that Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic should be appointed as the national coordinator in charge of drafting the national economic reform programme which Serbia, as a EU candidate country, needs to prepare in keeping with the instructions of the European Commission, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media released.

The Serbian government also dismissed several members of supervisory and management boards in public enterprises, organisations and institutions. This represents the continuation of the process of dismissal of officials and MPs as holders of dual offices, states the release.
