Belgrade at Tourism Fair in Turkey
BELGRADE/ISTANBUL - The Tourist Organisation of Belgrade will present Serbia at the Tourism Fair in Istanbul from January 22 to 25, and the stand with the offer of Belgrade and Serbia was visited by Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbas after the official opening ceremony, the Secretariat for Economy released.
Until the end of February, Belgrade will be presented at all significant tourist markets including Madrid, London, Tel Aviv, Milan and Sofia, and a series of promotions will be organised at the Belgrade fair from February 19 to 22.
Materials have been prepared that cover all sites and attractions interesting for different lifestyles, entertainment, culture and habits of potential visitors, Belgrade City Economy Secretary Tijana Maljkovic told Beoinfo.
She added that new brochures have been prepared for the occasion through which Belgrade would present its rich contents from the aspect of a natural oasis, capital of culture and event, congress and sports tourism, as well as city break destinations with abundant gastronomic programme.
Hunting tourism and Beer Fest are among Serbia's top trump cards on the tourism market, and Belgrade has become a particularly interesting destination for Turkish tourists when it comes to organisation of wedding ceremonies, Maljkovic said.
