Israel: Thousands of passengers crowding Tel Aviv Airport to leave the country

Approximately 70,000 passengers are at Tel Aviv’s airport, many trying to catch the last flights out of Israel as more airlines suspend passenger and commercial flights to and from Tel Aviv due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, according to Israeli media.

Many fear further flight cancellations and that they won’t be able to return to their home countries.

Israel quits UNESCO

Following in the footsteps of the US, Israel announced its exit from UNESCO, citing the it's "attacks" on the Jewish state. The move comes after 128 UN members voted to reject the US' recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Israeli ambassador to Ankara to start duty

Eitan Na'eh, the new Israeli ambassador to Ankara, will start his duty on Dec. 1, while Turkey's Ambassador to Israel, Kemal Ökem, will be in Tel Aviv in the first week of December, according to sources. 

Turkey and Israel decided to appoint the ambassadors' mutually, following the resolution of a major diplomatic crisis. 

Belgrade at Tourism Fair in Turkey

BELGRADE/ISTANBUL - The Tourist Organisation of Belgrade will present Serbia at the Tourism Fair in Istanbul from January 22 to 25, and the stand with the offer of Belgrade and Serbia was visited by Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbas after the official opening ceremony, the Secretariat for Economy released.
