Linta condemns Tomasic's statement on minorities

BELGRADE - President of the Coalition of Refugee Associations in Serbia Miodrag Linta most fiercely condemned on Friday the pro-ustasha statement of Croatian MP in the European Parliament Ruza Tomasic who said that the status of national minorities in Croatia should be called off and that all members of national minorities are 'political Croats.'

Linta recalls that the Croatian official believes that in such circumstances, members of national minorities would not vote according to instructions issued by someone from Serbia or another country and would have no problems with employment because expertise, not nationality, would be the deciding factor.

It is clear that through her public attitude, Ruza Tomasic wants to achieve the strategic goal of her political role models (leader of Croatia's fascist ustasha movement) Ante Pavelic and (former leader of the Croatian Democratic Union - HDZ) Franjo Tudjman, embodied in the creation of an ethnically cleansed Croatia without Serbs, Linta said.

He called on Tomasic to publicly address Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), in keeping with her stand on cancellation of the status of national minorities in Croatia, and tell them that they are in fact 'political Bosniaks', and inform Croats in Serbia that they are 'political Serbs' and that they should no longer vote according to the instructions of certain political circles from Zagreb in the presidential and parliamentary elections in Croatia.
