Dacic to attend Munich Security Conference

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic will take part in the 51st Munich Security Conference on February 7-8 in the capacity of the OSCE chairperson, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released in a statement on Friday.

A meeting of the OSCE Troika, which will be held at Dacic's call, will bring together the ministers of foreign affairs of Serbia, Switzerland and Germany - Dacic, Didier Burkhalter and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier.

The meeting will touch on the issues on the OSCE agenda, including the crisis in Ukraine, reads the statement.

Minister Dacic and the OSCE Troika officials will receive the Ewald von Kleist award that the Munich conference presents for contribution to peace, stability and security in Europe.

During the conference, Minister Dacic will hold a number of bilateral meetings.
