Zimonjic, Qureshi score success in Dubai

DUBAI - Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and Pakistani player Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi qualified for the Dubai ATP quarterfinal in men's doubles category as they defeated Canada's Vasek Pospisil and France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the first round match on Wednesday, 6-2, 6-3.

Zimonjic and Qureshi easily scored victory over the tournament's third seed pair after slightly over 50 minutes into the match.

In the next match, the Serbian and Pakistani players will cross rackets with Jeremy Chardy of France and Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic who beat Italy's Andreas Seppi and Simone Bolelli, 6-0, 6-1.
