Djokovic,Tipsarevic fall short of Miami doubles second round

MIAMI - Serbian tennis players Novak Djokovic and Janko Tipsarevic did not make it to the second round of the Miami Open men's doubles after they were edged by Austrian Jurgen Melzer and Swedish Robert Lindstedt 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.

The doubles match on Friday evening marked Tipsarevic's return to competition after being sidelined by injury for one year and a half.

Djokovic has won the tournament in Florida four times in 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2014, and this year he will begin his title defence campaign against Slovakia's Martin Klizan.

This singles second-round match will be aired in the night between Saturday and Sunday at 01:00 CET.
