OSCE conference on security sector reform to be held Tuesday

BELGRADE - As part of Serbian OSCE Chairmanship, an OSCE-wide conference on security sector governance and reform will be held in Belgrade on Tuesday, the Serbian Interior Ministry said in a release.

The conference will bring together around 200 participants representing OSCE member states, international organizations, security and civil sectors, diplomatic offices in Belgrade, Serbian foreign and interior ministries, Security Information Agency (BIA), Military Intelligence Agency (VOA), Military Security Agency (VBA) and National Security Council.

Opening remarks will be given by OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Serbian Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, and Director of the Office of the OSCE Secretary General, Ambassador Marcel Pesko, the release states.

The opening ceremony will be followed by several panel debates, with State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Nikolic as one of the participants.
