Anti-state rebels obstruct ND candidate Georgiadis’ speech

A group of anti-state rebels entered the Achilleion Hall where main opposition conservative New Democracy leadership candidate Adonis Georgiadis was due to give a speech on Tuesday. The group entered the hall, raised a banner and obstructed entry so that the scheduled event was unable to take place. Georgiadis returned to the Valis hotel at Agria where he is staying and invited friends of the party to listen to him there.

Earlier, Georgiadis had visited Magnesia and gave a press conference where he said that the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) was not enforcing the law. He expressed certainty that the next ND leader would be Prime Minister, and pledged he would do all he can to serve the Law that if he is the next leader of the ND party.

Georgiadis stated that Greece is currently undergoing the most crucial period since the start of the crisis. He underlined that the Greek people had opposed the Samaras government so that SYRIZA could gain power, however all pre-election pledges such as the abolition of the joint property tax (ENFIA), low taxation, the end of the bailout deals and “no home without electricity” had all gone out the window.

He pointed to the latest SYRIZA corruption that has come to light following the accusations of former SYRIZA minister Giannis Panousis regarding government officials who were not just conversing with terrorists but also governing according to their instructions! He said that he was concerned because if it is proven that the PM via his partners was creating legislation for terrorists, then the country would acquire even more problems in its international relations as well as other areas, such as tourism.
