Gypsy violinist to perform in Istanbul

Swissôtel The Bosphorus and Istanbul Les Ambassadeurs Bar continues its series of "Ambassadors of Jazz Music are in Town" concerts with Gypsy music legend Florin Niculescu. 

Niculescu will perform with his band, the Florin Niculescu Quartet, on March 3. He is considered one of the best jazz violinist of modern times, and the successor to Stéphane Grappelli. He is noted for his impressive technique and virtuosity as well as for his musical sensitivity. The performance will be a tribute to Grappelli.

Featuring various artists, "Ambassadors of Jazz Music are in Town" series will travel along the musical bars of jazz, while jazz fans will enjoy the bar's unique cocktails and breathtaking Bosphorus view.

Jazz nights are held every week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
