Altiparmakov: Tax admins are key to combating grey zone

BELGRADE - Member of Serbia's Fiscal Council Nikola Altiparmakov said in Belgrade Tuesday that to efficiently fight the informal economy, it was vital to strengthen the Tax Administration, and also expressed disagreement with some parts of the national strategy to combat the grey economy.
    
"Tax administration is the most neglected, given its importance, as when we talk about the fight against the grey economy, to us it is synonymous with strengthening the Tax Administration," Altiparmakov said, adding that, unfortunately, the issue was not being given the deserved attention.
