Dinar drops by 0.1 pct, exchange rate at RSD 122.9087
25-May-2016 09:21 BELGRADE - The dinar dropped by 0.1 percent against the euro on Wednesday, making the official medium exchange rate RSD 122.9087, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a statement.
The national currency remained steady against the eurozone currency compared to a month ago, dropping by 1.9 percent compared to a year ago. The dinar has dropped by 1 percent since the beginning of the year.
The dinar-to-dollar indicative exchange rate dropped by 0.6 percent to RSD 110.1629.
The dinar dropped by 0.8 percent against the US currency compared to a month ago and by 0.4 percent compared to a year ago, rising by 1.0 percent since the beginning of the year.
The NBS has sold a total of EUR 725 million and purchased EUR 20 million on the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year to curb daily exchange rate fluctuations.
