"Passions and Dreams of Italian Fashion" in Belgrade

BELGRADE - An exhibition of Italian high fashion, titled "Passions and Dreams of Italian Fashion: Creativity, Style and Expression" will open at Princess Ljubica's Palace in Belgrade Tuesday.

Visitors will have the chance to enjoy unique creations of famous fashion brands such as Armani, Versace, Valentino, Fendi, Laura Biagioti, Sisters Fontana and many more.

Among the showpieces will be an Armani dress that Sofia Loren wore on the red carpet for the 70th anniversary celebration of Cinecitta Studios and a Sorelle Fontana dress that Ava Gardner wore in The Barefoot Contessa, the modern version of which was worn by Anita Ekberg in La Dolce Vitta.

The exhibition is part of the 16th edition of the Italian Language in the World Week, organized every October by the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade.
