Vulin: Serbia to get 6 mln euros more in humanitarian aid

BRUSSELS - Serbia will get around 6 million euros more in humanitarian assistance to deal with the migrant crisis, Minister of Labour, Employment and Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin said Tuesday after a meeting with Christos Stylianides, European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, in Brussels.

"Appreciating the way Serbia is taking care of migrants and dealing with the consequences of the migrant crisis, Stylianides said today around 6 mln euros more in humanitarian assistance would be earmarked for us, and we will be able to use that to boost capacities, purchase all that is needed and provide health care," Vulin said.

Vulin was also scheduled to meet with European Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn.
