Suspect package found in building housing PM's flat?

BELGRADE - An Air Serbia building in New Belgrade's Belville district was urgently evacuated at around 10 am Wednesday following a bomb tip-off.

Some media have reported one of the flats in the building was property of Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, while others said the building was close to one housing a flat he owned.

There has been no official confirmation of this as police, an anti-diversion team, ambulances and fire-fighters - as well as some members of Vucic's security team - were on the scene.

Checks were carried out to verify the bomb threat.

Belgrade media reported a "suspicious package" had been found underneath a car in an underground garage.

Tanjug's reporter on the ground said a white Peugeot 406 car had been towed out of the garage and that the police and the anti-diversion team left around 2 pm after investigating the scene...
