"Clear signal needed in response to attacks on journalists"

OSCE mission in Serbia chief Andrea Orizio says that institutions in Serbia must send a clear signal that attacks on journalists would not be tolerated.

Beta reported that at the conference in Belgrade on Wednesday, titled "Media Freedom and the Safety of Journalists in Serbia What is the Next Step?", Orizio supported the agreement on the improvement of the safety of journalists, signed in December by representatives of the judiciary, the police and journalists' associations.
