Gojkovic: Joining IAEA BoG boost to Serbia's recognisability

VIENNA - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic has met with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano in Vienna, where she headed a Serbian delegation at an IAEA General Conference meeting.

Highlighting the significance of Serbia joining the organisation's Board of Governors, she noted Serbia's membership in the body would boost the country's recognisability in global efforts toward sustainable development through use of nuclear energy solely for peaceful purposes, the Serbian parliament said in a statement.
