Today Bulgarian Transport Carriers are on a New Protest
Today a new protest of bus and heavy goods carriers will take place in the country between 11:00 and 17:00. It will support the bill for the Bulgarian Automobile Chamber, which was withdrawn by the National Assembly on the orders of PM Boyko Borisov after a protest by another branch of the industry.
Organizers today are the Union of International Carriers (SMP) and the Bulgarian Association of Carrier Associations (BASSAT). At 11 o'clock in front of the temple-monument "St. Alexander Nevski " they are expected to park 100 buses. Meanwhile at 17:00 in the direction of Tsarigradsko shose, from the roundabout on the 4th kilometer to the junction with "Dimitar Peshev" blvd. will be parked trucks and buses.
Such protests will take place in Rousse (Bulgaria Blvd.), in Veliko Tarnovo (on "Magistralna" Str.), In Plovdiv (St. Petersburg Blvd.), in Pleven (on the Sofia-Rousse Ring Road) in Svilengrad (on San Stefano Street), in Yambol (at the bus station), in Petrich (on "Mesta" Str.), in Vratsa (on "Second Journey" Blvd.) and in Varna (Kurchanov), Radio Darik reported, and there are no plans to close roads.
