Pileup causes traffic delays in Thessaloniki

Around a dozen vehicles were involved in a pileup on the western-bound lane of the Thessaloniki ring road on Friday morning, causing significant traffic delays.

Traffic Police said an estimated 15 cars smashed into each other, but there have been no reports of injuries so far.

Patrol cars and officers were dispatched to the area to help ease the congestion and to remove damaged vehicles from the road so that circulation can resume as usual.
