Robber holds up bank in central Athens

An armed robbery was reported in a bank located in the Athenian district of Koukaki on Thursday morning.

According to reports, a person wearing a full-face mask entered the bank branch on Syngrou Avenue shortly before 10 a.m., brandishing a weapon.

The attacker took an unspecified amount of cash and fled.
