Anuga Cologne food fair to showcase 17 Slovenian companies

Cologne – A total of 17 Slovenian companies are participating in this year’s Anuga food and beverage trade show in Cologne, Germany, which kicks off today, announced the investment agency Spirit Slovenija.

The fair, described by Spirit Slovenija as the chief food trade show in Europe, will showcase organic food products, fresh and chilled food products, meat, frozen food, dairy products, bread and pastries, hot drinks, beverages, healthy eating and catering services.

The Slovenian companies will present their services and products at a 263 m2 exhibition space provided by Spirit Slovenija. Among them are Delamaris, Kras, Pekarna Pečjak, Gea, and Ekolife Natura.

Slovenia’s promotion will be part of a number of the show’s theme categories, including Anuga Fine Food, Anuga Culinary Concepts, Anuga Meat, Anuga Frozen in Anuga Drinks.

The international biennial is held in a hybrid format this year due to Covid-19. In 2019, the fair, featuring some 7,400 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, attracted more than 165,000 visitors.

By the end of the year, another two group presentations of Slovenian companies will be carried out by Spirit Slovenija, including participation in the Milan Tuttofood fair and the Metstrade show in Amsterdam, the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment, materials and systems.
