Kecmanovic through to Acapulco quarter-finals
ACAPULCO - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic is through to the quarter-finals of the Acapulco ATP tournament after beating German Daniel Altmaier 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday morning.
World number 53 Kecmanovic, who won after an hour and 33 minutes of play, is now 2-0 head-to-head against Altmaier, who is 57th in the ATP rankings.
In the quarter-finals, Kecmanovic will face Briton Jack Draper, who defeated Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka 6-3, 6-0.
Serbian Dusan Lajovic failed to qualify for the quarter-finals after losing 6-4, 7-5 to Norwegian Casper Ruud after an hour and 26 minutes of play.
