Martial arts coach remanded on rape, sexual harassment charges

A 38-year-old martial arts coach was remanded Wednesday in the northern port city of Thessaloniki after his testimony on charges of rape and sexual abuse involving three underage female students.

The accusations, made last year, involve continuous harassment from March 2022 to June 2023.

The coach, claiming innocence and alleging a financial setup, was deemed remandable pending trial following his testimony and a police investigation.
