Serbia men's basketball team loses to USA in Olympic semi-final

PARIS - The Serbia men's national basketball team has failed to qualify for the final of the Paris Olympics after a 95-91 (23-31, 20-23, 20-22, 32-15) semi-final defeat to the USA on Thursday evening.

Bogdan Bogdanovic led the scoring for Serbia with 20 points, Nikola Jokic followed with 17 points and 11 assists and Aleksa Avramovic added 15 points.

Steph Curry excelled for the USA with 35 points, Joel Embiid scored 19 points, while LeBron James had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

In the final, the USA will play France, with Serbia to take on Germany in the bronze medal game.
