The challenge of the Kifissos

Previous natural disasters have shown the areas where the Greek capital is most vulnerable.

The initiative for the protection of the districts near the banks of the Kifissos River was initiated by the regional authority and seems to be mobilizing the municipalities.

Local and central government must coordinate, so that one of the most densely populated zones of the country will acquire proper defenses at the level dictated by the climate crisis.
