Greece is becoming self-sufficient in paper production

The second, and largest, stage of an investment that will make Greece self-sufficient in primary paper rolls is beginning following the signing of the relevant bank financing agreement by Intertrade.

This concerns large paper rolls, called jumbo rolls in the market, that after being processed by paper mills, are converted into paper towels, kitchen rolls, toilet paper, professional paper products, tissues etc.

The first stage of the investment was completed in June 2022, when Intertrade's production capacity was vertically integrated with a new production unit on a 200,000-square meter plot at Oinofyta, north of Athens, transforming it into a jumbo roll producer.
