Prosecutor οpens inquiry into ISAP train doors opening in transit

A prosecutor has launched an investigation following allegations by STASY employees that train doors opened while the ISAP train was in motion during a New Year's Day route. The incident reportedly occurred between the Ano Patissia and Perissos stations.

Aristeidis Koreas, head of the Athens Prosecutor's Office, ordered a preliminary investigation to assess the validity of the complaint and determine whether passengers aboard the train were put at risk.

The inquiry will also examine whether the incident constitutes a breach of public transport safety regulations, a criminal offense under Greek law.
