First cruise ship of the year arrives at Piraeus

The first cruise ship of the year, the Viking Saturn, carrying 930 passengers, anchored at Piraeus port on Tuesday.

The cruise ship is 228 meters long and has nine decks. The administration of the Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) has organized a special event with the exchange of honorary plaques, as well as welcome treats offered to the passengers passing through the cruise terminal.

The Viking company operates in Piraeus throughout the year. It is expected to arrive at the port 41 times with 10 of its ships, compared to 28 arrivals in 2024 with seven ships.
