Man’s body found near Thessaloniki intercity bus station

A badly decomposed body of a man has been found near the KTEL intercity bus station in Thessaloniki.

As reported by local news site Thestival.gr, a passerby spotted the body, which was lying among rubble, at approximately 1 p.m.

Police were immediately informed.

Officers have ruled out foul play in the death of the man, who, it is understood, was an 88-year-old man who had been missing since last November.

A silver alert had been issued following his disappearance.
