The Hague Tribunal has acquitted Vojislav Seselj on all counts of the indictment against him in the first-instance ruling announced on Thursday.

The leader of the SRS party stood accused of committing crimes against humanity and violating the laws or customs of war.

According to Le Figaro newspaper, a group of 30 young people broke the windows of banks and shops, while throwing rocks to police officers. Many people were arrested, according to Le Parisien.

Bulgaria MPs Approve Changes to Judicial System

Lawmakers have approved on a second reading legislative amendments that the government argues are paving the way for a major reform in the judicial system.

MPs have agreed to split the Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) into two colleges, one for judges and the other for prosecutors.

Bosnia Arrests Ten People For Banking Scam

Bosnia's State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, has arrested 10 people in relation to a scam in which a now-defunct bank in Bosnia's mainly Serbian entity issued nearly 123 million KM - 63 million euros - in fraudulent loans and guarantees.

The State Prosecutor said their actions "caused damage to the banking system and the financial status of the Bosnia and Herzegovina".

Croatian Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic said the acquittal of Serbian nationalist leader Vojislav Seselj was a setback for justice, while war victims expressed hope it would be overturned on appeal.

Overpass collapses in Kolkata, India (pics+vid)

An overpass collapsed Thursday in a congested area of the eastern Indian city of Kolkata, crushing vehicles below it, killing at least 15 people and leaving dozens more missing, police said.

More than 100 people were unaccounted for after the incident, said Sgt. Saurav Benerjee of Kolkata police, as CNN reported.

Reports of explosion at Sweden’s airport

A possible explosion at Sweden’s Landvetter airport has been reported by the local Gotenborgs-Posten.

Other reports claim there’s a police bomb squad investigating the area and that two suspicious plastic bags have been found.

O'Sullivan, Selby to Star in Snooker Show in Sofia, Plovdiv in Autumn

Two of the greatest snooker players, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Selby, will visit Bulgaria in the autumn to take part in the Eleven 30 Series snooker show.

The first show will take place in Sofia on September 30, followed by another one in Plovdiv on October 1.

European Commission: First migrants to return to Turkey on Monday (video)

According to French news agency AFP, the first batch of 500 immigrants will be returned to Turkey in accordance to the recent EU-Turkey refugee agreement. The news was confirmed by the European Commission Monday, as the first immigrants will be readmitted into Turkey based on the one-to-one exchange provision.
